Connecting on LinkedIn a numbers game?
Is connecting on LinkedIn a numbers game or a search for quality connections?
I know, I know if you ask anyone with even half a brain, they will tell you that it is and should be a search for quality.
But on my way to finding high quality connections in a couple of years of being on, but not actively using it. NOBODY ASKED TO CONNECT WITH ME. not one person, not even a dog asked to join my network.
Then about a month after my site www.club-prive.com went live. I discovered on LinkedIn a huge community of adult industry sex workers, sex providers & lots of sexual deviants. A community of professional sex workers and sex seekers that was world-wide and simply mind boggling in the sheer number of people engaged in sex as work.
Well, I thought I had gone to heaven & that I had discovered the ultimate candy store. i began to pursue these people with a vengeance. My connections grew from about seventy friends & relatives to 500+ whores, escorts, erotica writers, swingers, strippers etc. all in less than 2 wks. I even had my account restricted for 48 hours at one point 'cause I was going after people with whom I had no common ties.
As soon as I achieved the mile stone of 500+ which on LinkedIn is displayed next to your name almost like a badge of honour, suddenly I started to get 5/6 and more invitation from total stranger's every day to join my network on line. And, of course it then becomes so much easier to direct these people to www.club-prive.com
If you ever thought as I so naievely thought that LinkedIn is clean and only filled with professional–lawyers, doctors, writers, web professionals it mgrs. . . Well, think again. Sure it's filled with those but also many more escorts, courtesans, dating services etc.
So if you want people to want you, better get lots & lots of network connections.
